52 In April 2011, Dr Kola Adeyemo received a divine mandate from God to use his academic skills and expertise to provide opportunities for diverse professionals to contribute to the socio-economic development of African nations. In obedience to this mandate, he establised The Kola Scholars (TKS) as a platform where African academics and several other professionals can realise their potentials while they are also contributing to the development of Africa. 

Dr Adeyemo obtained PhD in Educational Management from the Cavite State University, Philippines and had studied a professional qualification in Managing the Teaching and Learning Process from the University of Cambridge. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Pretoria and currently a senior lectuter in the same university. He was appointed as a visiting scholar and guest researcher at Indiana University, Bloomington, USA and Aarhus University,Copenhagen, Denmark. He is active in a number of research networks including: Higher Education Academy (UK); South African Institute for Business Accountant; Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK); Chartered Management Institute (UK) National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria.


Since the establishment of TKS, he has been trying to re-conceptualise the "notion of knowledge" in a way that can be of relevance to the needs of African nations. His vision specifically gear towards providing support to educational institutions at all levels and Christian organizations regardless of their denomination. 


In the effort to achieve TKS vision, he has developed the Quality Management System (QMS) manual for The Kola Scholars. The management team are committed to maintain a QMS based on internationally accepted standards, through internal quality audit, management review and independent third party audit. Therefore, TKS is documenting its processes in compliance of the elements indicated in the standards of ISO in anticipation of certification to Standards 9001:2000. TKS also maintaining a quality policy to adapt to challenges caused by economical, social, technical, and technological changes. 

TKS look forward to a result-oriented partnership relationship with an international organization, institutions, religious organizations and individuals whose visions are gear toward Africa development.
